Culture and local stories

Minna Canth belongs to Kuopio’s cultural memory. At the Old Kuopio Museum, furniture once owned by the writer recreates the atmosphere of her salon. The lake city’s story therefore brings literature, discussion and social engagement alongside commerce and transport.
